Baby Changing Table

From 10.21.2009 –

I was commissioned by the The Kimberton Waldorf School’s nursery program to create a baby changing table. I found an old side board and thought it would be a good fit. We liked the large door and the space inside for their storage. We went with a cream color and lavender to match the peaceful atmosphere of the schoolhouse. Added to the finished product were the top rails. The sides and back were all salvaged wood, the front curved rail was salvaged from the front of an old bureau. A changing pad was added to the top and they had their new, Salvaged, Rehabbed Green, Upcycled, Baby Changing Table, painted with only No-VOC Paints. Can we salvage and rehab a piece of furniture for your Eco-Friendly home? Email me with us needs and ideas, and we’ll make it happen!
